Does Buzzuka cost anything?
The Buzzuka® Pitch Studio™ is free for members to use. The only thing it costs you is a little time and some brain power.

What is an elevator pitch?
An elevator pitch is a 30-second short story that tells a big story about you and helps you sell an idea. If written correctly, it is so crystal clear that it has the power to "power" all of your communications. Elevator pitches are necessary because, "If you can't say it, you can't sell it."

What is the Buzzuka® Pitch Studio™?
Based on proven communications methods, the Buzzuka Pitch Studio is a smart message shortener that guides you through a thoughtful, step by step elevator pitch creation process. It helps you summon up the essential elements you need and then refine your work until it's "pitch perfect."

What is the Buzzuka® Print Studio?

A good pitch has the power to grab a target audience’s attention in the time it takes for the average elevator ride - about 30 seconds! But boiling all your ideas down to a single powerful message that sticks in mind of your prospect is hard to do. When you’re telling your story, it’s tempting to put everything in but the kitchen sink! But the truth is that “less is more” and what’s really needed is a short story that captivates your audience quickly. A great 30-second pitch can help captivate your audience and sell your ideas. But, until now, there’s been no smart message shortener...that is, until Buzzuka. Pitch Party: Buzzuka event where you can go and learn more about pitch-making.
MyBuzzuka: Your personal Buzzuka page, with its own unique URL that includes your Profile, Pitch Portfolio and Pitches in Progress.

Elevator Pitch Questions

Do you have some quick tips to help me get started?

  • Create a pitch: Click create a pitch and you're guided through our easy three-step process.
  • Check out your Pitch Portfolio™: Click my buzzuka to see all your pitches on display.
  • Find a friend or associate: Click search and then seach member.
  • Search for a pitch: Click search and then pitch search.
  • Share a pitch: When your pitch or pitch draft are complete, you will be guided through the process of sharing with your Buzzuka connections or through email, Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter. 
  • See my Pitch Portfolio the way everyone else does: Click public view and your pitches-in-progress disappear from view, invisible to others until you post them.
  • Invite non-members to join: Click invite and enter their email addresses.

Why does the pitch creation process start with selecting a pitch type: Person, Place or Thing?
Buzzuka lets you create and share a pitch on any topic under the sun. Since we're all about simplicity, we divided the world, like the simple children's game, into three easy categories. This helps us optimize the content in the Buzzuka™ Pitch Studio™ just for you and also helps others find your pitch more easily in Search. If you're not sure about the category to select (i.e., if you're writing a pitch about a beloved pet), choose the one that feels the best. You will still be able to create a great pitch. For instance, if your family dog is like a member of the family, you might want his/her pitch to be a "People" type.

What if I need help with my pitch?
Here's some easy ways to get help depending of what you need:

  • For starters, check out other pitches. See Featured Pitch and Sample Pitches for some ideas.
  • Next, Buzzuka makes it easy to get feedback from trusted contacts, connections and the Buzzuka Community of pitch-ers. In Step 3 (Time to Tweak), you can share you pitch with your own Buzzuka member Connections or by email and you can post it with tags for easy searching and feedback from other Buzzuka members.

How do I post my pitch?
When you're ready to share your pitch with the world, simply post it to your Pitch Portfolio where others can find you through the Buzzuka search engine or the world wide web. Buzzuka also makes it easy to share with your favorite social networks including Facebook and Twitter when during Step 3 (Time to Tweak) of the pitch creation process.

How many pitches do I need?
Just as no two snowflakes are alike, no two pitches should be either. A good pitch should be different from everyone else’s. Also, it’s important to have different pitches ready for different situations since these days, everyone is multi-faceted and because you never know when opportunity will knock.

How does Buzzuka work?
With Buzzuka, you can always be ready with a great pitch to convey the right message at the right time to the right audience. Simply buzz into the Buzzuka® Pitch Studio™ and Buzzuka take it from there. Buzzuka’s patent pending automated system simplifies the pitch-creation process. Users are taken through a set of simple proven prompts to coax out a simple and powerful 30-second sales pitch about any topic under the sun. Each individual element of the Buzzuka Pitch contributes to the overall effect. Some aspects focus on the facts of your story (i.e. problem, solution, benefit, etc.) and some on the emotion/passion of the story (both for the audience and for the communicator or “Pitch-er”).

What makes Buzzuka unique?
Buzzuka’s patent pending process combines powerful pitch architecture with proven communications techniques, and the technologies of the Internet and artificial intelligence. Buzzuka leverages the notion of “parsing” or breaking down complex things into their simplest components for easy understanding. What's the best way to share my pitch?
Buzzuka features a lively community of like-minded people who create pitches and share feedback about yours. Preview your pitch with your Buzzuka connections or post it in your Pitch Portfolio to tap into the buzz-power of the entire Buzzuka community. In addition, Buzzuka also makes it easy to share your content on your favorite social networks or blogs where your message can spred virally on sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter. 

How do I access the Buzzuka® Print Studio™?
Members can access the Print Studio from either their MyBuzzuka page, a View Pitch page or Step 3 of the Pitch Studio.
Who is Zazzle?
Zazzle is Buzzuka’s fulfillment partner for the  Buzzuka Print Studio. Buzzuka lets you design and order the highest quality customized promotional products. Buzzuka automatically  displays your pitch on these products as you finalize your design. Zazzle is responsible for all products, shipping and customer service for the Buzzuka Print Studio.

How do I customize a  Buzzuka Print Studio product?

What if I have a question or problem with a Print Studio product?
Simple speak to a Customer Support representative by calling 1-888-8ZAZZLE (892-9953) or (408) 983-2800 - Hours  Mon - Fri: 8AM - 6PM PST (11AM - 9PM EST). Or, 24 hours a day, go to www.zazzle.com, select ‘help’ and fill out the request form at the bottom of the page.

What's the difference between the Browse and Search functions?
Click "Browse" on the Navigation Bar to find pitches based on subjects it was tagged with by the author/pitch-er. Click "Search" and "Advanced Search" to locate pitch-ers, members and pitch topics by date, pitch type (Person, Place or Thing), etc.

How do I manage my connections?
Click the "Connections" button on the main Navigation Bar to view your connections and requests to connect. There are several ways to find new people and groups to connect with. You can click the "Invite" button to invite people to join Buzzuka through their email addresses. You can click "Search" on the main Nav Bar to find Buzzuka members you would like to connect with. When you find a profile or pitch of interest, click on the "Connect" link in the Pitch-er's (member) profile. They will receive an email invitation to connect. When they accept, you will both receive an email congratulating you on the new connection. You can also click the "Browse" button to find people, groups and pitches by their tags.

How can I share my profile with others?
From your MyBuzzuka page, your Profile and Pitch Portfolio are in view. At the bottom of Profile, click on the “share” link and you can click which connections you want to share with. To find more, visit the Search page to find possible like-minded connections.

Do you post pitches in English only?
At this time, we only post pitches on the site in English. We hope to have language translation capability in the future. 

How can I share my pitch with others?
From your MyBuzzuka page, on the thumbnail of the pitch you would like to share, click either the title of the pitch or click “View.” At the bottom of the “Pitch View” page, you can click which connections you want to share with. To find more, click on the “Search” button on the blue Navigation Bar page to find possible like-minded connections.

Do I need to back up my pitches?
Like any valuable data, it is a good idea to back up your pitches. You can copy and paste completed pitches from “Pitch View” or from completed sections in the Pitch Studio.

How do you select Featured Pitch-ers?
Pitches that effectively follow the Buzzuka Pitch format for effective pitching may be selected to be a Featured Pitch-er for added promotional value on the Buzzuka homepage. Be sure to remember, too, to include a logo or image for your pitch.

How do I remove a connection?
Under "Connections", you an remove a connection by simply clicking "remove" next to their name. When you remove a Connection, the person or account will not receive an email regarding this change. It will just occur.

How do I delete a pitch?
Simpy click “delete” on the Pitch Thumbnail in your “Pitch Porfolio” or “My Pitches in Progress” areas.

How do I delete an account?
To delete a Buzzuka account, simply send an email request to accounts@buzzuka.com and we can assist you.

What if I lose my password?
Simpy click the "Lost Password?" prompt at the bottom of the "Login" screen and you will be able to re-set your password.

Once I post a pitch to my Pitch Portfolio™ on my My Buzzuka page, can I ever unpost it?
Yes, you can unpost it anytime by simply clicking “unpost.”

Can I change the order of how my pitches appear in my Pitch Portfolio?
In your Pitch Portfolio, simply "unpost" a pitch and click "post" and it will be moved to the first position in the Portfolio. Watch the video.

Are my pitches Private or Public?
Pitches are for your eyes only until you post them on Buzzuka or share them with your Connections or post them on your social networks. Then, everyone can benefit from your ideas.

Why should I create and share my pitches on Buzzuka?

  • It helps you focus. The Buzzuka Pitch Studio is optimized to quickly and easily coax from you the true meaning of your messages.
  • It improves your messages. The Buzzuka pitch format is based on best marketing practices to deliver a pitch with a powerful punch.
